Catalog Quality Report

One report. Every product. What to fix first.

Every public product page scored against the standards AI shopping agents, Google Shopping and marketplaces read — with a per-product fix list you can hand to whoever manages your data.

What you get

Eight things in every report

Index score

A single 0–100 index with an A–F grade and a confidence band.

Two sub-indices

Storefront experience and how AI agents read your catalog, scored separately.

Up to 13 dimensions

Every scoring dimension, ordered weakest-first so you see where the points are.

Top problems

The biggest issues with the share of products affected and real sample URLs.

Ranked action plan

What moves the score most for the least effort, ordered by reach and effort.

Per-product punch list

Every product, every issue, in one table you can export to CSV.

Attribute compliance

How your data measures up against Google, Amazon, GS1, ETIM and schema.org.

Crawl diagnostics

Structured-data coverage, JS-rendered share and dead-URL ratio across your catalog.

Google is adding an “attribute completeness score” to Merchant Center to show “which of your products are missing these structured product attributes” (Google, 27 May 2026). The report shows that kind of gap product by product, across every channel, from your live pages.

Who it's for

Made for catalogs of every kind

DTC & Shopify brands

See what ChatGPT, Gemini and Google Shopping actually read on your product pages.

B2B distributors & industrial

Part numbers, cross-references and ETIM / UNSPSC attributes that procurement search matches on.

Marketplace & feed sellers

The attribute gaps mapped to Google, Amazon and GS1 that get listings suppressed.

Beauty, apparel & CPG

Whether shades, sizes and variants reach the agents, not just your storefront.

Two scoring profiles

Scored the way your catalog should be

B2B / technical

Weights identifiers, specifications, cross-references and documentation — the data industrial buyers and procurement search rely on.

Consumer

Weights descriptive titles, imagery, variants and buyer-facing content — the data shoppers and consumer agents rely on.

The right profile is auto-suggested from your catalog and confirmed by you before the report runs. See how the score is built →

What it is not

Straight about what this is

It does not connect to your store, install anything, change anything, or monitor over time (that's the CatalogIQ platform, a separate product). It reads public pages and reports. There is no PDF — the report is a web page you can export to CSV.

FAQ

Questions before you buy

What exactly do I get?
An index score with grade and confidence, two sub-indices, up to 13 dimensions, top problems with real sample URLs, a ranked action plan, and a per-product punch list you can export to CSV.
Do you need access to my store?
No. We read your public product pages only. Nothing to install, no login, no admin access, no app permissions.
Is it a PDF?
No. The report is a private web page, valid 30 days, and you can export the per-product punch list to CSV.
How is this different from a free AI-readiness app?
It covers every product up to 5,000, not a 25- to 50-product sample, needs no app install, and scores against published standards (Google, Amazon, GS1, ETIM, schema.org) rather than vendor-defined checks.
Report or platform — which is right for me?
The report is a one-time diagnosis for stores up to 5,000 products: run the free preview, pay $99 or $199, and get a per-product fix list. The CatalogIQ platform is for larger or fast-changing catalogs: it re-scores the whole catalog every 30 days and shows a 12-month trend. Over 5,000 products, behind a login, or changing every week? Talk to us about the platform.
What if the crawl fails?
You are not charged. Your card is authorized at checkout and captured only when the report is built; a failed crawl is voided automatically.
What if the report isn't usable?
Reply to the delivery email within 7 days of delivery. If the report is unusable for your store — wrong pages read, empty sections, or the wrong profile — we offer a free re-run first and refund the charge if you'd rather. A low score isn't a defect; it's the result.
