The CatalogIQ platform

Catalog quality, measured continuously.

For catalogs that change every week. New SKUs arrive with gaps, supplier feeds overwrite good content, and AI shopping agents re-read your catalog all the time, so a score taken once goes stale. The CatalogIQ platform re-scores your published catalog, the pages Google and AI agents actually read, every 30 days and shows where quality is slipping, product by product. No install and no PIM migration: it works alongside your PIM.

Why one score isn't enough

A catalog that turns over needs quality measured continuously

Catalog quality monitoring means re-scoring the published catalog on a schedule, so you see which products slipped, which fixes landed and what's new before shoppers or AI agents notice.

New SKUs arrive with gaps

Every launch adds products with missing identifiers, thin descriptions or no attributes.

Supplier feeds overwrite good content

A feed update can quietly replace the copy and specs your team already fixed.

Seasonal drops change the mix

New categories bring new attribute requirements your old products never needed.

Agents re-read all the time

AI shopping agents and marketplaces read what's published today, not what you fixed last quarter.

“All products expire from your Merchant Center account 30 days after the last refresh.”

Google Merchant Center Help, accessed October 2026

Accounts warned for product data quality issues have 28 days to fix them before items are disabled from free listings and Shopping ads.

What the platform does

One engine, every product, on a schedule

The same engine and standards as the one-time report, run against your whole catalog every 30 days. Screens below show sample data, with store names changed.

One index, and how it moved

The CatalogIQ Index with its two sub-indices, Foundations and AI Discovery, and the change since your last scan. Headline problems sit underneath, so the first screen tells you what changed and what to do next.

A 12-month trend

Reach

Your whole catalog, wherever it lives

The platform scores your public product pages, a product feed you send as CSV, or both. Catalogs behind a dealer login are crawled with credentials you store, encrypted at rest. Nothing to install on your store, and no PIM migration.

FAQ

Platform questions

Report or platform — which is right for me?
The report is a one-time diagnosis for stores up to 5,000 products: run the free preview, pay $99 or $199, and get a per-product fix list. The CatalogIQ platform is for larger or fast-changing catalogs: it re-scores the whole catalog every 30 days and shows a 12-month trend. Over 5,000 products, behind a login, or changing every week? Talk to us about the platform.
Is it the same score as the report?
Yes. Same engine, same methodology, same standards. The report and the platform differ in reach and cadence, not in how the score is built. You can see what the report shows in the sample report.
How often should product data be re-checked?
At least monthly for a catalog that changes. Google Merchant Center expires products 30 days after their last refresh, and accounts warned for product data quality issues get 28 days to fix them. The CatalogIQ platform re-scores the whole catalog every 30 days.
Can I just buy the $199 report for a 12,000-product catalog?
No. The self-serve report stops at 5,000 products and refuses above it rather than sampling. Larger catalogs go on the platform.
Do you need access to our systems?
No install and no PIM migration. We read your public product pages, a CSV feed you send, or both. A login is needed only if your catalog sits behind one, and those credentials are stored encrypted at rest.
Do I need a PIM (product information management system)?
No. The platform scores what's published, so it works with or without a PIM. If you have one, it scores the pages your PIM publishes to, so you see what actually reaches shoppers and AI agents.
Do you fix the catalog?
No. The platform tells you what to fix, product by product, and the next scan shows whether the fixes landed. Your team or agency makes the changes.
How is it priced?
Quoted to your catalog, because size, number of sources and setup change the effort. Tell us about the catalog and our team will come back with a quote.
