CatalogIQ enriches from the trusted sources you provide. It does not crawl or discover external data on its own. The score identifies the gap; remediation closes it from data you control; the re-score proves the close.
A fix closes when a fresh measurement confirms it, not when a human marks it done. The same re-score holds for our own work, and the scoreboard is never edited by hand. That is exactly why remediation can exist without weakening the score.
Measurement comes first, always. Remediations is how you close the gaps measurement finds, available once you are scoring and tracking.
